I would recommend Kinjo Studios, especially Callista and Teri. They both did an absolutely fantastic job with the total makeover of my resale HDB, transforming an older flat into a home that feels very modern and classy. From start to finish, Callista did most of the heavy lifting throughout the renovation process, so very minimal effort from my part somehow it just felt like a very relaxing journey for me. This was also because the communication frequency was great, and both Callista and Teri were always highly responsive to any questions that I had (though I don't really have too many questions because I trust them ^^). Even when towards the end of this project, when a few minor flaws were spotted near completion, Callista and Teri didn't hesitate to have them fixed promptly and without any hassle. In the end what I got is a home that is more than I had envisioned. Thank you both for the incredible work!

We had a really great experience working with Russell and Kinjo Studios for our home reno and are super happy with the final outcome. From the onset, he understood our needs guided us on futureproofing our space. For example, he started with asking questions on our lifestyle and future plans before jumping into floorplans and design like most IDs do. Russell is friendly, responsive, responsible, and very easy to communicate (like talking with a bro I know for a long time) throughout the entire process. Renovations always come with curveballs, but he handled every situation smoothly and professionally, which gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. What really stood out was his experience and attention to detail. He always seemed to have a solution for every problem or question that we have. He thinks through all the small but important practical considerations that homeowners (especially first timers) may overlook — for example, recommending the shower door to swing inwards instead of outwards to better prevent water spillage. It’s these thoughtful details that made a big difference in the final result. We also really liked his design language and appreciated how helpful he was when recommending/ guiding us through selections like tiles, laminates, and other materials — decisions that can honestly get quite overwhelming. His suggestions made the whole process much easier and helped everything come together cohesively. Overall, we are extremely happy with the reno outcome and would highly recommend Russell to anyone looking for an experienced and dependable ID that just gets things done to beautify your everyday living space!

I can’t say enough good things about Teri and Callista from Kinjo Studios. Before meeting them, I spoke to around 15 different designers from various firms, and most didn’t even read my brief or told me my ideas couldn’t be done. Teri was the first person who actually listened and gave me confidence from the start, and she and Callista delivered everything I asked for. The project was no small thing. Even though it’s just a three‑room HDB flat, we hacked all the walls and floors, shifted the DB box and added quite a bit of carpentry. They treated this “small” renovation like a big project and took a small space and made it work beautifully. Every friend who has visited since says how amazing the place looks, which is the best compliment I can pass on. Timing was tight because I collected my keys only about three months before Chinese New Year, and I really wanted to move in by then. Despite this demanding schedule, Teri and Callista pushed to meet my deadline - only minor touch‑ups were left by the end. That timeline felt even trickier because I was travelling for work and on holiday for most of the renovation. They kept me updated with regular progress reports, photos and messages so I could enjoy my travels without worrying. Knowing my home was in good hands was such a relief. On a personal level, what really stood out was how friendly and approachable they were. I had lots of questions and sometimes unrealistic expectations, but Teri and Callista were patient and always took time to explain things. When the inevitable hiccups happened, they dealt with them calmly and professionally. Seeing my vision come together so smoothly, and having it praised by everyone who sees it, makes me thankful I chose Teri and Callista. If you’re looking for designers who listen, care, adapt to your schedule and get the job done, I’d happily recommend them.

When our daughter bought the 4-room flat, we were canvassing for some designer/contractor to renovate the flat. We contacted a few of them, including the previous designer/contractor that did the work for us at our condo. Even though Teri's quote was not the lowest, we decided to go with her proposal. Reason being she came across as very sincere and listen to our intentions and pricing. She also very willingly agreed to visit the flat before providing her design and quote after several rounds of discussions. (Red flag for those deciding to go with so called "designer" that will provide you with a proposal without first visiting the site). This is a no no as there were many things that Teri pointed out to us during the site visits which would not be taken into consideration for the design proposal which will lead to many VOs. Working with Teri was a very good experience as she was very cool and calm and will try her level best to accommodate all our wishes and demands. However, she is also very diplomatic when it comes to area where she is unable to accede to our request, she will decline it without hurting your feelings. From our interactions with her, she came across as someone that has very good experience. She is very prompt with her replies and whenever she is tied up with another client, she will provide an interim reply and get back to us as soon as she was able to. We find this a very responsible attitude. She has a very pleasant disposition and calming voice. She is also very responsible person. This flat that our daughter bought was built in the 1980s and we believe it was when HDB was having an accelerated building programme. I must say that the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. The walls were all slanted. The floorings were not level. The toilets were super small with many pipes. So the design for the toilet and sanitary fittings were a huge challenge. But Teri managed to resolve all these for us. The service provided by Teri and her team was excellent. As for the workmanship, i must say that it met my expectation but a little bit more attention to details would make them an excellent team. Teri is very humble and would go the extra mile to accompany us to all the material vendors to select tiles, light and sanitary fittings and would share with us her contacts and their quotes which we could use to compare with our own vendors quotes. She is also very transparent about her pricing. One thing that i feel she needs improvement in is to not take what her contractor advised her as the gospel truth. She needs to check it up herself more. Other than that, she is a fantastic designer where she managed to keep within our budget and timeline.

We had a great experience working with Wee from Kinjo Studio on the renovation of our condominium room. As the unit was quite old, Wee was able to clearly identify and explain the unforeseen challenges that came with renovating an older home, which gave us a strong sense of reassurance throughout the process. Ultimately, we chose to work with him because of his unique design sense and he did not disappoint. We were also living in the unit during the renovation, and the process was impressively clean, efficient, and well-managed. For anyone looking to create a beautiful dream home, we would definitely recommend Wee as a reliable and creative interior designer
